Notice Regarding Payment Remittance:

Effective immediately, any mailed check payments for student account balances should be sent to:

Bursar Office
Northern Illinois University
1425 W. Lincoln Highway
DeKalb, IL 60115-2828

and no longer to the Remittance Drive address in Chicago.  Payments can still be processed online via e-check option (with no convenience fee) or credit card option.

Students:

• Register for classes and access/update your student information using MyNIU .
• You need your AccountID/Z-ID and password. Your AccountID/Z-ID was assigned to you when you were admitted to NIU. It looks like Z954321. Look up your Z-ID.
• Now is a good time to review your address and phone number and make any necessary updates.

Faculty and Staff:

• Access MyNIU.
• You need your AccountID/Novell ID and password. Look up your AccountID.
